The Social Emotional Learning (SEL) collection was curated to help children navigate an increasingly social world.

The following items are available to check out:

  1. Basic Vocabulary Photo Cards: Inspire an early love of learning about language and build vocabulary and memory skills with these kid-friendly double-sided photo cards. Set includes 156 double-sided photo cards. Cards represent 16 themes, organized by tabbed dividers.
  2. Building Empathy Grab and Play Game: Our fun-to-play game helps students learn from one another as they discuss empathy! As players move along the campground-themed game board, they draw cards that invite them to share, explain and show how they’d handle everyday situations—collecting chips as they go. The first player to collect 20 chips wins! You get everything needed to play, including a game board, 60 game cards, 80 plastic chips, a drawstring bag, 4 pawns, a die and an activity guide.
  3. Building Relationships Match-Ups: Kids explore relationships with this set of 20 hands-on match-ups! Each self-correcting puzzle is made up of 2 captioned pictures—one depicting an everyday scenario children may encounter and the other showing a positive outcome. As kids match up each pair, they learn how to identify and handle conflicts, communicate clearly, listen well, cooperate with others, and seek and offer help.
  4. Calm Down Kit: This kit consists of different items to help your child calm down: a mindful breathing board, a calming tube, sensory viewer, and calm down cubes. Practice your deep breathing together, try some visual stimulation toys, and get some ideas for activities you can do together to calm down.
  5. Calming Cuddle Ball: This soft, cozy ball provides tons of comfort and security—an ideal way for kids to calm themselves whenever they need it! Designed to give children a “hug,” the plush ball helps reduce anxiety and soothes the senses when kids slip in their arms and give it a little squeeze. Best of all, it’s machine-washable for super-easy care! Ball measures 11" in diameter.
  6. Cognitive Cards: Learn with fun! Cognitive cards are combined with scenes from children’s lives for children to learn in games. These cards offer children room to think while cultivating children’s intelligence, imagination and also enrich their vocabulary.
  7. Conversation Cards: How am I Feeling?: Emotional literacy provides an essential foundation for empathy, socialization, and self-understanding. Use these conversation cards to interpret facial expressions and inspire conversations about what makes us feel the way we do, improving our emotional intelligence.
  8. Conversation Cards: How Was Your Day?:These cards help children and parents navigate social situations about going back to school, prepping for school for the first time, or starting a new school. Questions on the back of each card invite parents and children to discuss what is happening in the sensitive illustrations. These cards help children to recognize emotional dynamics in going back to school, while sparking important conversations about their own experiences and how they are feeling.
  9. Conversation Cards: What Do I Do?: These cards are a wonderful tool for anyone who wants to gain a better understanding of subverted social expectations. This deck of 48 cards helps children understand how to handle various social situations with poise, grace, and confidence. The encouraging illustrations and simple instructions are perfect for opening up dialogues between parents and children about what behavior may be expected from them in various social environments. By encouraging kids to understand and digest positive social behavior rather than memorizing it, these cards will help kids to comfortably respond to a wide range of social cues.
  10. Cuddly Puppy Weighted Lap Pad: Improve focus and concentration—or just add a little comfort—with our fun and functional lap pad! Simply place the weighted puppy across a child’s lap for a relaxing sensory experience to calm nerves and ease anxiety. 15. Moods and Emotions Wooden Match-Ups: Kids identify moods and emotions with our easy-to-use illustrated puzzles!
